Not durable!

When it worked, it worked great. Less than 10-15 uses maximum though, and it shorted out. Now it’s a hassle to even try and get the screen to light up for a reading, by that time your food is burning, lol.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Garbage

Used this once with the wired probe, scrapped a perfectly nice tomahawk as the readings are way off and even after calibrating it, it just won’t give proper readings. And it also stopped working with wired probe saying the temperature is too high even if it is submerged in ice water… this thing is total garbage

Does not work more tban 7 /8 hours per bateries.

Mauvais achat

Acheté en décembre 2025. A commencé a décevoir en février 2026. Non seulement il est lent à trouver la température en direct mais lorsqu'on appuie sur les boutons de contrôle ou même quand on le prend en main, le thermomètre se réinitialise donc il perd les températures visées et surtout le choix de Far/Cel. Frustrant...Je l'utilise seulement avec la sonde depuis en faisant attention à ne pas le toucher... Aujourd'hui, après 6 mois d'utilisation infréquante et désagréable, il me dit que la viande sur le BBQ est à -5.7 en fin de cuisson...Tres mauvais achat.

Great for both instantly checking food temperature and monitoring the cooking of larger items.

  • A: I do not know the exact material, more than likely stainless since it does not melt. It is definitely waterproof. I have used it in the rain while cooking on my BBQ/Smoker. It does go through batteries pretty quickly.
