Still new but so far not impressed

Giving two stars, but only because I am hoping that it will get better. So far cannot connect to my new phone so the Bluetooth feature and app won't work. I attached the two probes to the unit where I got two different room temperatures by two degrees. I then used them to monitor two patties in the oven, where one appeared to be cooking faster than the other (both 5 oz patties made using the same burger press). I let the lower reading one reach the desired temperature (meaning the other patty was well above done, only to find that both patties were pink inside. Am hoping that I can work with this as I'm planning on using it for a rib roast and later for Christmas turkey. Will be verifying results with at least one other thermometer.

This is my first digital thermometer. I like the fact that it has two probes that you can use in different locations on a bigger piece of meat, or on two separate pieces. It is easy to use with the app and so far so good
