Weak Ladder

11 years ago

First time I used this ladder I accidentally stepped on one of the legs and it completely bent compromising the stability and safety of the ladder. Threw it out the same day. The aluminum is weak. I don't trust it.

Q: Are aluminum ladders safe for changing indoor light bulb I read that fibreglass ladders are more suitable if dealing with electricity, but for changing indoor light bulbs is it safe to use an aluminum ladder?

A: Fiberglass ladders are recommended for any type of electrical work including the changing of a light bulb even if the risk is low. Metal ladders conduct electricity while fiberglass does not.
