Bought this table 2 years ago. legs bent after first use when I was folding it up. they keep bending worse and at this point the table is basically useless as it can't really fold up anymore. Belongs in the garbage. buy a better one somewhere else.

Great product. Only drawback is a flimsy handle to transport table in folded up position. Straps on the handle will eventually breakdown. Have to keep an eye out for ware on the straps.

Q: Is the surface of the table textured? Many of this style are impossible to write on, due to a textured finish. Looking for something absolutely flat.

  • A: Yes it has a slightly textured top. If I need to write on it, I just place something smooth on top such as a piece of cardboard, cutting board or something similar.

  • A: The picture is of a previous version having a deeper top with more rounded edges. The plastic used in the earlier versiob is also harder and less textured.

Q: Does a piece of plastic in the hinge need to be removed to open the table the first time?

  • A: I believe the plastic piece may be the latch that unlocks the table. If not and it's preventing the table from opening then it's likely a shipping tab that needs to be removed.

Q: How do you open it? I just brought it home and can’t see how to open it up.

  • A: The legs have a little notch that grasp to each other and keep the table closed. You have to go to the side with the little indent, and give it a bit of a bump, or jerk, to separate it. Then it unfolds.
