When should I throw out my dog’s toys?

Always replace old or worn-out toys if you notice damage like rips, tears or a squeaker falling out. Old toys also carry germs and bacteria that can cause an upset stomach for your pup, so it’s best to wash them regularly with hot, soapy water. Fleece and fluffy toys should be washed on hot in your washing machine separate from the rest of your family’s laundry.

How do you tell if a toy is too small for a dog?
The toy should be small enough for your dog to carry in his mouth, but not so small that it could be accidentally swallowed or present a choking hazard.
