Great little magnets to help you weld.

These were exactly what I needed for my welding project - cheap and does the job. Not the absolutely strongest magnet but plenty for the type of work I'm doing at home. And cheaper than other major online retailers or even overseas sellers!

Too weak to hold a piece is sheet metal in place

Bought these yesterday returning them today because they are not up to the job. I am trying to repair my snow blower but due to the angles I have to work at I needed something to hold my patch on place and these are unable to even hold thier own weight in place let alone the weight of a piece of 4"x 24" piece of Body steel the instant I would let them go they would either slide down or fall off all together. Only thing they do hold well is the fringing dust from prepping the surface to weld on clean metal.
