    Great product- bang for buck

Purchased one of these in hopes of cutting the edge off in my single attached garage(insulated). Bang for the buck this unit is great. End of the day its a 1500W heater but it does push heat and the fan is actually half decent. The nice part is most 1500W heaters have a secondary option of 600-800W where this one is 1300W. Both settings are useful. Works very well not sure why the negative reviews.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

A Disappointment even at the price

I am not a fan of writing negative reviews but unfortunately this product warrants one. Situation: I bought two of these to run off my generator to heat a small bathroom that I was working on (less than 5'x10'). I bought two because I knew that they were cheap based on the price point. Unfortunately the one knob shattered right away (likely due to the cold but it wasn't THAT cold). Once I got the two unboxed I turned them on and was quickly disappointed by the heat output. With two of these running on high with the door closed they had only increased the temperature by 2 degrees Celcius (starting at -5 so it wasn't even above freezing) over the course of more than an hour. I switched to a (One) 900w heater by another manufacturer that put out significantly more heat, making the room noticeably warmer in minutes. I could have run three of those other ones (similar total power rating) and cooked myself out of the room meanwhile this product wasn't worth the gas it took to run them. I would strongly recommend passing on this item, "Mastercraft" used to mean something, it certainly doesn't anymore as they strive to make things at a lower and lower price-point. Unfortunately I have always struggled at returns with being a people pleaser but these aren't worth the space on my shelf so they'll go to landfill.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    good ole fashioned heater

bought this for garage, mostly smoke breaks. Assembled fine for the price, cheap parts for handle etc., don't overtighten screws or you will strip and have to install bigger screws if you want the handle intact This heater pushes more heat than the fancy quartz and ceramics. It also heats up instantly. It's in use at least a dozen times a day, switches holding up fine but hard to turn, good child proof feature i guess, better knurled and shaped knobs would be an asset. For the 23 bux an outstanding basic heater, glad i bought it.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Totally Unreliable

Bought it Thursday, January 5, 2017. It died Friday, Jan. 6, 2018. Utter garbage. Called the store and they said bring it in for a total refund. At least they stand by their return policy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: What square footage does this heater cover?

    1 Answer
    • A: It really depends on the air circulation of the room. If the door and window are shut, this heater should be able to heat up a 200-250 square feet room.
