I feel like an idiot with this thing on my head but its perfect around the campsite at night or for going to the outhouse or even reading around the campfire; the flashlight is ok too

Great little flashlight - very bright and lasts a long time on just 2 AA batteries. Haven't used the headlight yet. The flashlight is small, easy to grip, push down on/off switch and had a flip up and down stand built right on the flashlight to place it for hands free operation. For the price, can't beat it.
