3 years agoA: Yes, it will help a lot. But use stainless steel bolts , nuts, and washers to prevent corrosion.

Q: Use on Battery Terminals Is this product conductive enough to use in between automotive battery posts & terminals before connecting them?
10 years agoA: You can clean off the posts and the top of the battery properly with baking soda and water (as a paste) to neutralize any acid corrosion, wipe it off clean, throw on some vaseline on the posts, then attach the connectors. Put on 2 or 3mm of it. Vaseline is conductive, helps protect from too much oxygen contact, and cheaper, cant go wrong. I do it, works like a charm.

Q: can it be used on wheels for winter to summer change of wheels
6 years agoA: Hello, thank you for your question on Permatex Anti-Seize. Permatex does not recommend the use of anti-seize product on wheel studs. Many people have used anti-seize for this application, however, there is the potential for over-torqueing and therefore, higher clamp loads and excessive bolt stretch. For this reason, even if you try to torque the nuts to factory specs, the clamp load may become too high depending on the type of bolt, size and manufacturer.

Q: Can you use it on brake pads?
8 years agoA: This product can be used in the assembly and disassembly of metal parts including brake parts. It is not to applied directly to the brake pad itself. Permatex Silver Grade Anti Seize will provide easier disassembly of parts exposed to high temperatures while preventing rusting, corrosion and resists most chemicals.
