Fan is a good size, pedestal gets the center of the fan from 36'-43". Base legs are a bit big and you'll need a 23'x23' foot print. A round base would have been better for a smaller footprint. Mechanical push button switch is ideal for me as i have it plugged into a smart plug. Fans with remotes usually will not work with a smart plug, once power is off they will not turn back on without the remote or touch pad. Typical plastic and thin metal construction. Buying on sale is recommended and best value.
