Problème de conception

Problème de conception: à la longue, la chaleur affaibli le crochet qui retient le gaufrier fermé. Le gaufrier s’ouvre alors tout seul pendant la cuisson. Risque de brûlure si on le maintient fermé avec la main. Dommage, l’idée générale était intéressante.

We bought for Christmas breakfast and I was impressed with the how it was able to make waffles evenly cooked. The feature that allows you to make your waffles "ighter" or "darker" is nice to have.

The best waffle maker I have ever had! I use this every day to make waffles. It lasted 5 years and now I have warren off the non stick finish off. Wish they still made this waffle maker.

Q: The directions say to season the waffle plates. How do you do this and do you need to season each time you use it?

A: Actually you “season” it with vegetable oil (or Pam spray). Just use a bit on a paper towel and wipe the plates.

A: Normal baking time for Shade #3 is about 3 minutes, but depending on your waffle recipe, that may vary. Lighter shades take a little less time; darker shades a little more.
