Q: I see good reviews. Then between gas or electric power washer. I will use it mainly for car washing.is this pressure safe for the paint? Online advice is to use 1600 to 2000psi for washing cars wondering if this washer is too powerful.
3 years agoA: I've used it on my outdoor toys ( atv and such) and it didn't peel any decals off, also worked on our painted aluminum boat just fine, I wouldn't use the strongest tip. These are definitely powerful units and we are very happy with it!!

Q: How do I register the SImoniz 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer (039-8073-8) on-line with www.simoniz.ca or Canadian Tire? The specific model number RH255 does not appear on the drop down list. I need to register for warranty purposes. Please advise.
5 years agoA: i'll second that worst pressure washer I've used difficult to starts, and pressure pump as about as cheap as they get used antifreeze during winter and the pump still broke dont waste your money not even at half price its no deal

A: Platinum 3000 has a fixed PSI setting and the pressure is not adjustable. Gas pressure washer in general might be too powerful for car wash. We recommend buying any SIMONIZ or PLATINUM electric pressure washer for car wash application. Thanks you for your interest of our products.

Q: Simoniz 3000 gas pressure washer has lost spray power. Contacting the Simoniz help line they need the product code. When relayed they do not recognize it and cannot help. I just need to know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
5 years agoA: Quick fix: disconnect the spray tip from the wand and run the tip under tap water for a minute. The product code is located on the rating label of the product. For this product, it should be 0398073.
