this was not the best pressure washer by any means… price was decent for the psi. but the warranty is up, pump failed, simoniz support sucks, they just say “discontinued”so you cant even buy a new pump or rebuild kit (even tho other older models you still can?) makes it seem like they know it was garbage and are just dodging responsibility for selling a lemon. repair shops wont even look at it/simoniz brands. thankfully i found a wetjet centurion pump on sale at princess auto for $180 that seems to fit all the specs. regardless; i refuse to buy anything simoniz from here on out.

We are pretty sure we got a returned item, ran well first time but horrible since. Only used 3x this spring and doesn’t want to continue to run, stalls frequently and takes for ever to start, if it starts at all! We bought floor model, unit looked clean and new, just put together. Save your money by elsewhere!

Great machine but disappointed with Canadian Tire

Great machine. Works really well but really disappointed in Canadian Tire though. Bought the machine online for pick up at the store and I was sold a machine that was returned. It was great that it was all mounted but parts were missing for the soap dispenser and have been chasing the after sales people to get resolution. I’ve been bounced around from one company to another as it is unclear who provides the after sales servicing.

Q: I see good reviews. Then between gas or electric power washer. I will use it mainly for car washing.is this pressure safe for the paint? Online advice is to use 1600 to 2000psi for washing cars wondering if this washer is too powerful.

  • A: I've used it on my outdoor toys ( atv and such) and it didn't peel any decals off, also worked on our painted aluminum boat just fine, I wouldn't use the strongest tip. These are definitely powerful units and we are very happy with it!!

Q: How do I register the SImoniz 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer (039-8073-8) on-line with www.simoniz.ca or Canadian Tire?  The specific model number RH255 does not appear on the drop down list. I need to register for warranty purposes. Please advise.

  • A: i'll second that worst pressure washer I've used difficult to starts, and pressure pump as about as cheap as they get used antifreeze during winter and the pump still broke dont waste your money not even at half price its no deal

  • A: Platinum 3000 has a fixed PSI setting and the pressure is not adjustable. Gas pressure washer in general might be too powerful for car wash. We recommend buying any SIMONIZ or PLATINUM electric pressure washer for car wash application. Thanks you for your interest of our products.

Q: Simoniz 3000 gas pressure washer has lost spray power. Contacting the Simoniz help line they need the product code. When relayed they do not recognize it and cannot help. I just need to know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • A: Quick fix: disconnect the spray tip from the wand and run the tip under tap water for a minute. The product code is located on the rating label of the product. For this product, it should be 0398073.
