I sprayed it all over my body , especially the hanging bits . Still a rusty ol ##### product didn’t stop the aging :(

Good paint, bad nozzle

Paint worked as intended. But the nozzle clogs very frequently and isn't one of those easy spray nozzles either. Would be 5 stars with a better nozzle. I did a roughly 3x3 area and would get the roll on paint if it were bigger

Upon shaking the can of Specialty Chalk Board Spray Paint to get the mixing ball dislodged, we then recommend an additional 60 seconds of shaking to incorporate all the material. Once mixed and the application has begun, we recommend shaking often during the application, to keep the solid suspended, avoiding things like clogging and sputtering. Ok, but not great

Followed all instructions including priming before applying the chalkboard paint. Waited over 24 hours before 2nd coat. Then waited several days before applying chalk all over the painted board (as per the instructions). Turned my new chalkboard eraser black after first use.

Q: How many coats does this need to be effective on a surface?

A: Hi Chalkboy3, Great question! We recommend at least 2 light coats, a few minutes apart. However, if you feel a third coat is necessary, there is nothing wrong with that. After 24 hours, prepare the surface for use by rubbing the side of the chalk over the entire surface and erase. This will leave a coat of chalk dust that will provide the best erasability. The chalkboard can be wiped clean with a damp cloth but wait at least 7 days after painting to do so. We hope this new information is helpful.

Q: Does the surface need to be primed first before spraying the chalkboard paint or does it go on directly on a previously painted surface like a closet door?

A: If the existing paint is waterbased, make sure the surface is well-cleaned and lightly scuffed before applying the Chalkboard paint. Unpainted surfaces, or surfaces previously coated with oil-based paint should be primed.
