The two burners are fueled by induction technology, so they heat up fast and stay consistently hot, and because the body of the cooktop doesn’t get hot, you or your curious youngster can touch it without getting burned. This also means if you spill or splatter onto the cooking surface, it won’t burn, making cleanup easier. The hot plates for cooking have touch control with 10 power settings for each burner and a digital timer of up to three hours with auto shut-off and an audible signal. It’s indisputably safer to use than electric or gas cooktops and uses less energy than conventional burners.

Both induction surfaces can be used simultaneously. While this model uses a 'power sharing' system at peak demand, the right burner provides up to 1050-watts and the left up to 750-watts. Induction burner keeps failing

I bought one of these several weeks ago and within two or three days it had started giving error messages. It kept turning off, so I took it back and got another one and it worked very well for about two weeks and it started giving the same error messages. I was hoping that the first one was just a lemon, but now I realize that the whole thing is a bad design, taking it back and will not get another.
