These are a really good value, especially on sale, and provide clean, safe storage for all my cereal toppings like raisins, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, etc. They are kind of decorative with the food colours nicely displayed.

A: The lids screw on. They look like metal, but are actually plastic. I bought one set and am buying three more. Great value.

Q: Has anyone used these as cannisters for coffee, tea, sugar? Would they work for this or just dry pasta, etc.?

A: They are very airtight so they would in fact work for tea coffee etc..I however stuck to the pasta use!
