The cashier at the return desk was very rude. She told us that we should not have opened the package. OMG how would we have known that the toilet seat was broken?? There was no replacement seat in the store.

Toilet seat looks nice but does not align well. One side comes loose and seat moves. Have tightened it several times but seat continues to move. Tried to put universal hinge bolts, but they do not fit the seat.

Love the slow close feature. Installation was not easy. The picture instructions were hard to follow. We could not get the bolts tight enough to stop the seat from moving (the bolts tighten into a rubber apparatus)

As mentioned it closes very softly. As other reviews mentioned it’s little tricky to install but very easy once you figure it out. Not having the traditional plastic screws but sturdy stainless steel screws and smart install. On front of cover there is pictures of how to install and no instructions inside. It took me 5 minutes to install.

Worst frankly non existent instructions and little information online. Thank you to the person who provided more details in the reviews! Not sure why Danze thought it was a good idea to reinvent the wheel and not use the standards plastic bolt with the plastic nut under the toilet. Product seems fine, no issue I'd rate it a 4, install info is rated a 0. Seat and lid closure operate very slowly with no noise as advertised. Additional install instructions: Remove the screw from the black rubber thing, insert black rubber things into toilet holes until flush with toilet (I found twisting and pulling from bottom helped), attach the square rubber pads to the back of the seat hinges lining up the hole and the 4 nibs, insert white washers into top side of the hole, now place seat on toilet. Insert screw thru the washers, seat and into the black things and tighten. Note the seat will now slide out of the brackets (I've no idea why, see pics). Before you completely tighten ensure the seat lines up with the toilet, if it needs adjusting the white washers permit movement (which may mean you need to remove the screw enough to shift them - another backwards complication). If you've slid the seat out of brackets, slide it back in and then close the bracket covers (what is the point of that??). Essentially the lightweight bracket covers are now holding the seat to the toilet via the screw and black things. Which is weird that a plastic square is all that is holding the seat to the screw assembly, where I would think that the screw assembly should be holding the seat in place. Anyway...we'll see how the strong the seat stays in place after usage.
