Great Little Heater

We needed a small, quiet, low wattage, heater for our downstairs powder room. This little heater is great because after you turn it on, it will sense when no one has used the bathroom for 30 mins. After 30 mins of no motion in the bathroom, the unit goes into standby mode and waits for 90 more mins. If someone uses the bathroom during those 90 mins it will automatically reset and start the 1/2 hour heat, 90 minute standby cycle. Perfect for when you have guests who are using the power room while visiting. As well it has a high (800 watts) and low (400 watts) setting. 400 watts is a super low power setting which means that this unit will generally not overload shared electrical circuits... The unit also has a little black slider switch at the bottom (back) for times when you want to turn off the motion sensor... This means you could turn off the sensor and have the heater stay on for as long as you like. The one got-cha with this unit is that it's either on of off at either one of the two heat settings. Not a big deal for our powder room application. The low 400 watt setting works just fine in our small 4 X 6 bathroom. Not too hot, not too cold... One last thought... If you plan to use this unit in a bathroom double check to make sure the outlet has a GFI breaker (main panel or outlet)... Always remember, safety first... :-)

Works very well

It heats up instantly. The heat wind comes out directly. I feel very safe to use even though I put my feet close to the heat. Works well in the office space.

Q : Can I adjust the heater to 4 Degree Celcius? And use it as a frost protection?

We are more than willing to address this for you. This heater doesn't have the option to adjust the temperature. It has High and Low settings. Q : Will it set of my breaker? I am looking for a space heater to use in my basement bedroom (average sized bedroom) that will not set off my breaker (i.e., low energy?). Do you think either of these would do the trick or do you have another suggestion?

Q : Fan noise level? I own a similar heater from Honeywell and this thing is VERY noisy. Impossible to use it in a bedroom while sleeping. Moreover fan stop/start every 2 minutes or so! I am wondering if this heater may be quieter?

Nous sommes heureux d'y répondre pour vous. Nous vous recommandons de toujours brancher le radiateur directement dans une prise murale. N'utilisez jamais de rallonge ou de prise d'alimentation rechargeable (ruban / prise de courant). Nous vous déconseillons d'utiliser le radiateur avec une batterie MotoMaster Nautilus, 800 A. Voici les spécifications techniques de cet article : Ampères : 6,7, Puissance : 800 W, Tension de fonctionnement : 120 V AC / 60 Hz. Passe une bonne journée!

There are multiple variations of marks for UL and ETL Listing service, some of which are for use in the United States, others for use in Canada and still others for use in both markets. Products carrying marks for Canada (UL C, ETL C) have been evaluated to Canadian safety requirements, which may be somewhat different from U.S. safety requirements (UL US, ETL US). A combination mark indicates compliance with both Canadian and U.S. requirements (UL C & US, ETL C & US). These marks can be found on the manufacturers labels of all our products. R : The maximum wattage a heater can be in Canada is 1500 watts. Most heaters work at the maximum wattage to produce the maximum heat output. This heater is specially designed to give max output at 800Watts for the office environment. Most offices have trouble running a 1500 watt heater as well as all the required electronics, monitor, computer, printer ,etc... A small heater that packs a punch that won’t blow any fuses.
