L'outil d'analyse/lecteur de code pour diagnostic de véhicules Innova TR413 est un appareil haute performance qui prend en charge les 10 modes OBD2 pour un accès sans précédent aux systèmes et aux fonctions OBD2. Il permet de diagnostiquer les systèmes de freinage et de sécurité dans la plupart des véhicules nord-américains, asiatiques et européens de 1996 et plus récents. * Ensure the ignition is in the Key On, Engine Off (KOEO) position
* Confirm that the tool is securely connected to the vehicle’s diagnostic port

False advertising! Advertised as a TR413 & is supposed to bring up ECU codes: that is totally false because there is no such model: the 3160RS only reads DTC codes & some other stuff: I already have a tool that does the same for way less money: took it back immediately without leaving the store

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify, “ECU codes” is simply another way of referring to the same Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle’s computer. The 3160RS is designed to read and clear codes for all systems, service reset, as well as service checks. We hope this clears up the misunderstanding.

Very poor product

Innova doesn't provide any method to delete extra vehicles from unit...I accidentally entered my vehicle twice under similar names and the unit randomly switches between the two vehicles...
The Save Live Data feature is very User Unfriendly and poorly documented by Innova to the point where it is a barely usable feature...
I actually rate this product a Zero and next time I need to use a scan tool I will buy a better product...

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience. To remove a vehicle from the unit, simply connect the tool to a different vehicle. The previous vehicles will automatically be replaced once a new one is added. Keep in mind that the tool can store up to three vehicles at a time.

OBD2 Reader

I had an OBD2 reader from well over 10 years ago but left the batteries in there and they exploded. OBD2 done!!!! Do yourself a favour and remove the batteries when you're not using them.
I really liked this upgraded OBD2 reader. Once I downloaded the app and registered and hooked up to my 2008 F150, it quickly determined that my #3 cylinder ignition coil was faulty.
So before buying one I had to find out for sure whether my Ignition Coil had a brown boot or black boot. So I goto remove the ignition coil and find that the connector isn't on properly. Simply easy fix. Without the OBD2 reader I would have had a really hard time trying to troubleshoot this problem. So it was a little pricey for me being a home garage DIY guy but will be handy for many years to come.
Also another useful feature of this OBD2 reader other than doing the check engine light clearing, It'll suggest parts and part #'s. Very handy

R : Perhaps best to check with the manufacturer. I am not familiar with this issue. I doubt it though. It can read and clear your diagnostic codes. Sounds like your issue is releasing a control system. Doug

R : According to the Innova website and other reviews on the Innova 3160, Yes… You can scan and read transmission temperatures. Having said that, the Nissan Transmission that You talk about is probably one of the most troublesome and failure prone transmissions ever made! I have only come across bad news when I Google or Review information about Nissan CVT’s and hope that you do not have any grief with Your Nissan Sentra.

R : The 3160RS, indeed does reset SRS codes, however that will depend on the vehicle. Please visit innova.com/pages/coverage to be able to type in your vehicle year, make, and model to find out if the 3160rs supports SRS for your specific vehicle.
