    I tried the Simoniz Tire Cleaner for the first time last week. This product is incredible! It removed all the dirt and marks on the tires leaving them looking great. I also finished the tires off the the Simoniz Tire Shine and they are still shining today even after the rain storm from the other day. These products are a must have!

    I used this on my tires per the instructions and it did little but clean them. It did not restore at all.

For best results, we recommend using a brush such as the Simoniz Platinum Contour Tire Brush (039-6171-6). When using the Simoniz Tire Cleaner, please note that this product is designed to removes dirt and contaminants from the tire, restoring the tire to a like-new state.     Apparently this is THE Go-To cleaner for Golfers who want to restore the grips on their golf clubs rather than using just soap & water or having them 're-gripped'

    Q : Can this product damage rims? If it touches aluminum rims or various other metals that rims can be made with,can it be corrosive and ruin the finish? (Even if rinsed off immediately.)

    • R : I would say, if it was left on the rims surface for a period of time it would stain. I had that happen to me. I now have changed the way I apply the tire foam. Spray the tire foam onto a tire applicator and rub that around the rim. Works just as good!

    • R : Yes the tire cleaner #039-0716 could be used to clean rim, do not let dry on surfaces let work product 30 seconds and brush the rim then rinse well.
