Les lecteurs dvd ne fonctionnent plus après seulement 4 utilisations en 6 mois!! Les images ont commencées à sauter apres 3 utilisations et à la quatrième utilisation, les lecteurs ne lisaient plus aucun dvd!

I bought this for my kids thinking it would be nice my son would be able to change the dvd by himself, however he could not open it b/c of the straps and I would have to pull over and replace the movie for him. We had this item for 5 months and the second screen quite working and we could not get it fixed again. If you stop the movie to run into a store or if the kids fell asleep, and when you came back to replay it you would have to start over from the beginning again it does not pick up where left off.

Those of you wondering about this door crasher deal I say go for it. You get two 7" screens for $100. This is basically a media player and two screens. It does play xvid, dvix, avi. It handled every file format I threw at it. I was able to read these files from a cheap dvdr no problem AND also from a usb key! That's right you CAN copy movies to a usb stick and play them. Movies can also be FF and RWD at 2X - 32X, handy feature. Also plays mp3s and allows you to view jpeg files. Playback of a standard dvd also worked as expected. Oh yes a remote and a rca style (red yellow white) cable is included to hook it up to a tv for home use or the audio system of your vehicle. House and car power adapters included. I should also note both screens have built in speakers and headphone jacks with individual volume control. Two sets of headphones are also included. Cons: Well quality is the only reason I rated this 4 stars and not 5. The buttons on the player click very loudly (you'll see) and they don't repeat, meaning you must click the button 10 times to select the 10th item, you can't just hold it down. The actual quality of the screens is OK, not amazing but I doubt your kids will complain. Finally for those who do actually want to play DVDs, it's a bit awkward to insert and remove them. Higher quality systems exist at much higher prices, but for $100 you get a feature rich, flexible dual screen system to keep the kids happy and quiet!

I swear that the designers took the largest vehicle on the market and made the wiring just long enough to reach and not any extra. We have a Suburban and I found this really frustrating as we kept knocking the power cord out of the 12V socket with our elbow while driving. My 1 1/2 year old daughter kept kicking out the AV cables that connected the 2 units together. The mount system is poor. In order to change the DVD you have to pull the unit from the straps holding it to the headrest. My 10 year old daughter wasn't able to get the unit back into the straps and as a result I would have to stop, get out of the vehicle and change the DVD each time. Otherwise, the video quality was decent enough and we had no problems with the operation of the unit. The built in speakers were not sufficiently loud enough for everyone to hear over the road noise of our vehicle. We have 4 children and there are only 2 headphone ports. To make this work for us we would have had to buy a 12V power extension, 2 extra headphones and some splitters to be able to plug in the 2 extra headphones. We could have alternatively bought a RF modulator to run the sound from the vehicle speakers. These extra purchases negated the great price of the unit. We returned the product in favor of a built in roof mounted unit.

We were interested in getting a dual screen portable dvd player so when my husband saw this set on sale he couldn't resist but we were sadly disappointed and frustrated. We have had the same issues with it that the other individual mentioned with the clicking sounds and stuttering. Then it just stopped playing some movies altogether. I had to keep shutting it down and turning it back on again at least three times before it would read the dvd. I know the dvd was a good one as it worked on all of our other players in the house. We used it in the house, too, but the stand was too narrow so it kept falling face down or flat back and it was frustrating not to have a battery that would charge up so we wouldn't have to have a cord everywhere we went or have to find an outlet. But when it works, it does serve the purpose of entertaining the kids on drives.
