Mice and rat just ignore and play with this stuff. They don't eat at all. After a week, they just mess this stuff around.

If the rodents are not eating the bait, it is a clear indication that they have another food source. Green Earth Homecare Mouse & Rat Killer is formulated using Cellulose from Powdered Corn. It may quickly bring about dehydration, ultimately resulting in death, but due to the unique way that rodents' process food, it is vital that it be used indoors only, and be the sole food source for approximately 3 to 5 days. It disrupts the rodent's ability to absorb water, thus causing dehydration, even if additional water is ingested, but it is essential that all other food sources be removed, and the bait be replenished daily, or as often as required.
Simply place the bait out unopened, in tamper-proof bait stations, in areas where you are finding their droppings, along their trails, or in their hiding places, and check on it daily. If they finish all of this bait over night, double the amount the next night. Keep increasing the amount until you have some left over in the morning. This will ensure that there is sufficient bait to go around to all of the rodents. If they do not eat it, it will not work.
In areas where you cannot prevent access to another food source we recommend using Wilson Warfarin Re-usable Bait Station Kit (059-1964-2), or Wilson Predator Mouse Bait Station Kit (059-1962-6), neither are dependent on being the sole food source.

Simply not suitable

This rat poison is so ineffective that when I left a plate of it near the rats nest it ate some and left me a bad Yelp! review.
I can tell it ate some, dragged some away for later, and yet fresh droppings and no carcass.
