Bad carburetor on these honda motors

long story short fixed 5 of these almost brand new with defective carburetors on these junk Honda motors. A bunch of us bought these same time in neighborhood at a better price and definitely wasn't worth it. 2 of these units weren't even used for 5 months and finally when it was time they wouldn't start. Be forewarned as i add another expensive waste of money item if purchased here in the corner to collect dust

Nearly Perfect for home owner

Just bought this as a clearance item. I've used it twice already and it's exactly what I needed. Good pressure and the soap siphon works great.
After putting oil and gas in it, it started with ease on 2 light pulls. Two days later, it started on the first easy pull.
The HONDA engine runs smooth and noise level is tolerable.

It seemed to run great the first year then the second year it started running only with choke on. At the end of last year I made a point of shutting off the fuel supply so it would run dry of gasoline before putting away. The carburetor seems to have issues where it can't seem to be happy with choke on or off. I might get three years out of it.

Misrepresents the Honda brand name.

I brought this power washer because of the honda branding on the box. However once I opened the box I noticed a briggs and stratton sticker on the housing. I have now owned this power washer for approximately six months and am on my second or third tank of fuel and it no longer starts. Contacted the store and the machine has a 30 day replacement 2 year repair warranty. Should have returned it as soon as I was in question about which brand of motor was in it!

Bought one of these about 2 years ago. Don't know what I ever did without one. Runs flawlessly.Great for cleaning deck, travel trailer, patio etc.

Q : Are the pumps replaceable? I have no experience with gas powered washers but have read that motors are not usually the weak splt rather it is the pus that fail most. If they are replaceable, where do I buy them and how much?

R : It is a Honda engine - almost bullet proof. Check and change the oil on a regular basis. ALWAYS turn on water BEFORE starting unit. Carry out maintenance per owners manual - such as cleaning/replacing air filter, check/replace spark plug (correct gap!) Use Premium gas at all times and you will NEVER have a problem with the engine. This unit will last 20 years if taken care of correctly.

R : It is a four cycle motor so you do not need to add oil to the gas. you DO NEED TO PUT OIL IN THE ENGINE.
