Climatiseur portatif 3-en-1 Hisense, 12 000 BTU, blanc

At first am pleased about this portable ac because I found it on sale and the specs are perfect for my bedroom. Then two days after, I got a note from my neighbour downstairs that she cannot sleep because of some noise. I believe the condenser, once the preferred temperature is reached, the condenser shuts off. When it turns on, the noise is not much. But when it shuts off, sometimes it sounds like someone just threw a basketball on the wall. So the AC does not emit a lot of noise, only when the condenser shuts off

I've used it for a month so far. It works very effectively. Can cool down a middle sized bedroom quickly! Easy to install by yourself coz it comes with a window kit. I give it a four star only because it’s a little too noisy for me even when I switch to the lowest level. If you are a sensitive sleeper, you will get used to it but it takes time!

I almost didn't buy this because of the cost, but it was worth it. It easily cools my 350 SF living room, but it not quite powerful enough to reach the bedroom, but likely that's due to the layout of my apartment. It at least makes it not unbearably hot. Like other reviewers pointed out, it is noisy so plan accordingly.

First day of operation: 1. Unboxing - unit heavy but well packaged. 2, Install - easy. For a 2 minute video type go to You Tube and type full product name and add the word "installation". Excellent short video which shows installation step by step and gives a good look at the product. 3. Operation - straightforward. Just a couple of controls. Also comes with a remote which I have not set up yet. 4, Output - pumps out steady stream of cool air. In a bedroom it would drop the temperature quickly. I have it in living room my apt, (about 300 sq feet open to the rest of the apartment.) It takes more time but so far does the job. 5. Noise -Well this is why I give it 4.5 and not 5. It is somewhat loud, I tried to research for a quiet portable air conditioner but I think they are all somewhat noisy. 6. So how noisy?? This is the only issue I have with the unit (as I said I have not set up the remote so I don:t know if it works well but I assume so). Well the unit seems to work very well but is loud, For me I am willing to sacrifice noise for performance. I find it acceptable. But if noise is a big issue for you I think you should look elsewhere. 6. BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend this unit subject to my comments on the noise, Also I would say "noise" is subjective - how you perceive the noise level will depend where you have the unit and your tolerance for noise, I wish I could be more helpful on this point. If you try and research the noise issue by reading reviews you like me will be frustrated - for same units - some will say noisy others quiet - no consistency. I think the only way to figure it out is to buy a unit - try it and return it if not acceptable. It will be a pain if you have to go through all the work of repacking if you don't like it but I cant think of any other way to do it.

I am so happy and excited to have this in my home , the design is great , it was a little heavy so I would recommend having someone help with moving it , but it works fantastic and thank God because it has been so hot very happy and relieved to have this product in my home !!!!
