Shame the batteries are discontinued!!!

I got the kit years ago, worked fine for a while, Drill, Reciprocating saw and Skill saw, 2 battery pack and charger. Now the batteries won't hold a charge, Canadian Tire doesn't have replacement batteries for these, these are nothing more than door stops now. I went to Home Hardware and got a Benchmark kit with drill, impact, Skill saw, reciprocating saw and flashlight, 2 batteries and charger, 5 year warranty at a discount for $199 reg $299. I moved on from Canadian Tire, I brought the Benchmark tools to work and they are working out great for what I need, making my work day more enjoyable.

Not happy with the batteries.

I got a drill kit for Christmas a while ago.I use it when needed,till I drain the battery,, always recharge them.Have 2 batteries with the kit.Bought a 3rd,,& it wouldn't hold a charge for any length of time!! Even after draining it& recharging it,.drills like new,& hasn't been used hard, not pleased that I can't get batteries Anymore,, now the original ones have stopped taking a charge..So now the kits useless to me!!! I'll never buy another power tool from Canadian tire !!!!

I bought a set with drill and circular saw. After I used it a few times both batteries no good Can`t get any batteries now. This is junk . Will not buy more Canadiantire tools.

Rechargeable Battery 54-3064-2

Why are you not selling this battery anymore? Drill works fine! Batteries are tired! You need to supply required items until someone decides to replace an item due to not working anymore! My drill is working correctly. Needs Batteries

Delivers power when needed

This is an excellent battery pack. I needed to use my reciprocating saw this past weekend, after at least 8 months without use. I was afraid I'd have to give it a charge, but no. I got to work and there was a lot of juice left. I didn't need to re-charge it beforehand. It does hold its charge for a long time! I always give those a full charge after each use; but in this case, it didn't lose much even after all those months.

It has switched entirely to Lithium-Ion technology which provides many more benefits from a performance and ergonomics perspective, while being a more environmentally friendly technology vs Ni-Cad / Nickel Cadmium.
