Excellent unless you need 2nd collar

Great purchase. Easy to set boundary and dog learned new space quickly and easily. HOWEVER, I got a 2nd dog and could not wait to start her learning process. Was told CT carries additional collars. However, they do not. Also told that collars for inground system would work, which of course they do not. Managed to find collar online but with S&H it came to just under $200. Very expensive compared to other collars that cost $69 +tax. I just wished that CT carried all accesories for their product and their staff were aware of this.

Fantastic PET system

I would more than recommend this unit I have already installed 3 with wire and 5 of these wireless ones for friends they work great..... only down fall of the wireless one is the area is round and most yards aren't..... if you have a long narrow yard you might want to get the underground wire system .....

good product for me

had this product for a few months. trained my 3 month old puppy easily. the collar is a bit big for small dogs though (bulky, heavy...). the manual for training i found to be a bit to vague for my needs but speaking to friends with similar fence systems solved the training problem. there is a video made by the company on youtube showing how to train though so kudos for that!
the box is big n bulky too but if you can find a good spot to put it, great! turing it off and on tends to adjust your boundary by a few feet so beware and make sure to put your flags accordingly and maybe don't turn the un it off n on?
it works for us and our dog and even though we have a more typical rectangular yard, we've made it work for us. give it a shot!

R : I believe they are compatible, but $189 +tax!! I did find replacement collar at Guardian in the USA (www.guardianpet.net). I called the customer care # from there site. They charged $139 before tax and waived shipping.

R : Collar may be too heavy. There are compatible collars out there that are very light but you will have to buy them separately and from other retailer. They are well over $100.

R : yes, i use it for my 2 dogs and have a spare for when my friends come over with there dogs. Only problem was to train there dog at the bigining. Another friend has the same machine and just brings his dogs with there collar (takes the collar off) Read well the training procedure

R : you can use any collar at all .... you have to just BURN (being careful) two holes into the collar at the pins and attached the collar
