Not all cameras work the same

I have a few different brands of cameras, some features all Uway cameras have that I consider not doing without are, no visible flash and it doesnt make any sound when taking pics, these days not just important for the animals which you are hunting, but theft of game cameras is very high , so its nice to have cameras that are invisible and silent to passer byes.

worst purchase ever

I was not satisfied with this camera!. I just got back from checking my bait and it was all gone but when I went to go look at the pictures and there was 550 pictures of nothing and my sensitivity was on low. Half of the pictures were all blurry and its not the first time this camera has done this.

NOW THAT'S BETTER !

My pics of big bucks over the last 3 years were always just a single shot - leading me to believe that something about the camera was scaring the smartest of the deer. The red glow combined with a faint click of the shutter were, I believe, the culprits.
I switched to Uway because of the advertised black light and silent shutter. WOW ! What a difference. The big guys come to my apples and spend lots of time there, returning time after time.
There may be similar cameras out there, but you cannot go wrong with one of these.

Great pics but no good below zero

Takes great pictures and video and worth the price when on sale. Easy to program. The battery life seems to be pretty good too. My one complaint is that it will not work below zero temps. It just simply stops taking pics as soon as the temperature drops below freezing.

Not my best purchase

Bought two of these. One for home and one for hunting. Batteries died within a week. Exchanged it for another one, thinking I bought a defected camera and put 12 ultra lithium, worth $50.00 in it, and the batteries were dead within a week. Taking it back today for a refund and will purchase another brand. I am currently using the other one, but I expect the batteries will go dead in this one as well.

R : This is what they call blackflash which is suppose to be invisible, I have one and I can see the glow at 5', this camera has a infrared flash, not a white flash. So it takes night pics in black and white, not in color. I like mine. The flash meets and exceeds the advertised flash distance.

Q : What setting for alkaline batteries The manual suggests nimh or lithium but they are expensive. It also says you can use alkaline but there is no setting for them.

R : Please select the Lithium setting if using Alkaline batteries. The different battery settings are to help increase the accuracy of the battery level meter; the setting does not affect the functionality of the camera. Lithium or NiMH are recommended to maximize the night lighting range as they can output amperage more efficiently than alkaline, especially in colder weather. Alkaline can be used, but you may experience decreased night lighting, shorter video clips, and reduced picture burst counts when the weather turns colder.
