Great OEM replacement: Chevy Colorado

Seems to fit and work great in my Chevy Colorado ZR2. Much better than OEM headlights and I don't see people flashing me when I am approaching (hopefully not bad for oncoming cars). So far do good. Happy with the initial install.

Not impressed

This is my first foray into the world of LED lights for cars. Honestly I am not really impressed with these bulbs.I don't think they are particularly bright, maybe a tiny bit brighter than the halogens they replaced. They were easy enough to install I will give them that. I would not buy them again though. I would return them if it wasn't such a hassle to take them back out of my car and do it all over again... I would rank them as adequate, but not impressive like I was hoping. Sorry Sylvania, but I think these bulbs were a big waste of my money.

Bright, but still has issues

Been running these lights for about 3 months now and while these lights are very bright on low beam, they have too much of a flood for me to compare to the laser-like beams of incandescent bulbs.
In addition, they flicker occasionally despite being a drop in replacement, and the worst part? They don't generate enough heat on the lense to melt snow and ice. So the second it starts to snow, visibility completely dissapears as the headlight is completely covered in snow.
In short; these lights are bright, should last a while, but the tech just isnt there to compare to incadescent in vehicles just yet.

Very bright

I have just installed these so I can't speak to the longevity, however, there is a 5 year warranty. They are very bright compared to the factory halogens and the distance of the light is a vast improvement as well.

Works great, but need more warranty into

I love the lights. They work very well. But I cannot for the life of me find a way to register them if it is needed to carry out warranty should it be required.

R : Hello, Thank you for contacting us. Our bulbs are designed to meet the lumen requirements established for each bulb type. An H11 bulb is required to deliver 1250lm ±12% at 12.8V. Our bulbs will meet this specification. Headlight assemblies are designed to provide their optimal beam pattern with a light source within these specifications. Anything outside this range could deliver a compromised performance.

R : Hello, Thank you for contacting us. We have not tested our LED H11 bulbs in this particular model, but are aware that many Dodge vehicles’ system pulses the headlight bulbs to check for outage. It is therefore possible that an anti-flicker adapter is needed to eliminate the pulsing. Our bulbs meet the standard for H11 bulbs of 1250±12% at 12.8V.

R : Hello, Thank you for contacting us. Outage detection varies from vehicle to vehicle and also by application. The SYLVANIA ZEVO H11 low beam is a great upgrade for this vehicle. We have seen many installations of the ZEVO H11 perform with no "Canbus Errors"; however there are options on the market for Canbus Error Eliminators should the need arise.

The flicker is most likely the vehicle’s system checking for the presence of a bulb and considers the low power consumption of an LED bulb as a “bulb-out”, thus shutting down. There are aftermarket solutions with resistor/capacitor combinations that could help resolve this. Unfortunately, SYLVANIA does not offer these.

R : Yes, these LED headlights are much brighter than a halogen bulb. Over a couple years, the lumen output of a halogen bulb decreases and the light starts to dim. LEDs stay brighter for a much longer period of time due to its long life span.
