Tente en dôme WindRiver, 6 personnes

We have had this tent for 4 years and it is very durable. The front vestibule is large enough to put a chair for putting on shoes (or as we do a small bucket for mid-night toilet trips) I am 6' 4" and can stand up in the middle. This is easily enough for our family of 4 with all our bags. It has a room divider, but we don't use it. You should know this is not a tent for areas exposed to high winds. Because of its size it can catch a lot of wind. Also do not use if expecting snow. We once camped in september and there was a wet snow that caused the poles to bend inward, I got a broom and sweeped it off, but our neighbour's tent completely collapsed. This tent is great in three seasons, it really should be used away from wind and snow

We bought this tent and I have mixed feelings about it. It's kind of a pain to setup. I'm not a stranger to tents so this came as a surprise when it took ages to setup even on the 3rd use. that said, when we were camping out in the rain it was SOOOOO nice to have the extra area in front to keep out wood, chairs and shoes dry. If you are can handle the setup time it's a great tent.

Just picked up this tent a few days ago and pitched it in the front yard yesterday to check everything over. My 14 yr old son helped me and it took less than 15 mins. The pole for the vestibule was quite difficult to get into the plastic 'feet', otherwise everything else was relatively easy and straight forward. I like the design of the tent, the layout and size (actually quite large, even for a 6 person tent), however the materials appear cheap. I can't comment on how it would hold up during adverse weather conditions, but with a full fly and decent ventilation it should be fine. Unfortunately, when trying to remove the vestibule pole from the 'feet' during take down, the corner of the material ripped, pulling away from the plastic clip. Not good. I was very disappointed and after reading another review about difficulties returning the tent, I figured I was stuck with it. I dreaded the thought of calling the manufacturer customer service # (as they recommend) and dealing with new parts for replacement/repair. Instead I decided to take it back to CT and see what would happen. To my delight, absolutely NO questions asked! Full return. Perhaps I got a dud. Hopefully. Maybe it's a very durable tent and most buyers will get many good years out of it. Not me though. I lost all confidence in the tent and the brand, so I will be looking elsewhere and will most likely spend double on a reputable brand with a higher quality product. For this reason, I cannot recommend this tent to anyone. For anyone that decides to buy this tent anyway, please be careful when dealing with the pole for the vestibule and hopefully you'll have better luck than I.

Provides lots of space inside. You can even fit a blow up queen bed on a stand inside if you want deluxe camping. Unfortunately there is not enough ventilation in the fly. If you have to spend any time in the tent during the day with 6 people it will get really stuffy. Returned this tent for a store credit because of this. I did not use this tent just set it up in the backyard when I noticed there was no back vent/window. It was not easy to get a credit back so make sure this tent is EXACTLY what you need before you buy.
