Same as the one that came with my kit

Great quality, used it to replace the one we had on our Spalding basketball kit (post, base, basket and board). The first one lasted for years and got broken by our fault. This one should last for years to come.

Seems ok. Annoying to have to buy a mounting kit as well. Mounting kit is not well designed and the wall mounting of the backboard could have been much much easier with a better design...

She's more brittle than the queen's bush. Avoid, it shattered after very little use by a 12 year old kid.

sWish Instructions were clearer

I purchased product to replace shattered polycarbonate backboard. The included instructions were very very confusing because multiple methods of attaching backboard. Backboard feels thin, but so was the original backboard which lasted over 5 years, but we will see how durable it is.

I bought this last week from our local Canadian Tire, as soon as it was out of the box we could tell it wasn’t the greatest quality but we figured you aren’t going to get much better at that low price. The instructions are terrible. All the hardware isn’t numbered to match the instructions and was very confusing. The washers were too small and fell through the holes. Then the holes didn’t match up with holes in the mounting bracket( that didn’t come with the backboard, you have to buy that separately and is equally junky with confusing instructions). We will be lucky to get a summer out of it.

Q : Where can I find the instructions? My box didn't include them and I can't find it online anywhere. When I opened my box there were no instructions present. The hardware was included but I couldn't find anything to help me assemble it. Do you have a link to a PDF version of the instructions or somewhere else I can find them?

R : No, product # 084-3392 comes with the backboard, rim and net. It does include some hardware however if you are looking to mount the backboard to a roof, wall or pole, you will need the mounting bracket. We do sell the mounting bracket under SKU # 084-1058.

R : The backboard has a steel frame that adds added strength to the board along with Polycarbonate as the backboard material. Polycarbonate is considered a un-breakable material that adds to the durability of the system.
