Expensive for the size but ....

Just replaced a few end links and they have grease nipples. No other OE parts like tie rod ends have them. So little grease needed these days

J'ai acheté ce produit afin de graissé mon VTT quand on revient d'une randonnée, ça fonctionne très bien, en revenant d'une randonnée poussiéreuse le vtt commençait à grincer comme une vieille chaise berceuse, après application c'était complètement silencieux, sonnait comme un neuf!

Q : Good for lubricating an elliptical? Would like to know if this product is good for lubricating the guide railing and the bearings of a Horizon Fitness Elliptical EX-69. Guide rail surface contact is plastic to metal and the bearings are metal to metal.

R : In addition, a better product to use for this application would be 028-0806, which is a lithium based grease that is non staining. It’s a better fit for indoor household items like an elliptical trainer. We would also recommend that you thoroughly clean away any grease on the exterior of the machine once the job is finished to avoid creating a slippery spot or getting it tracked around the house accidentally.

R : In addition: Yes, the 028-0212 Lithium grease tube will fit all standard 3OZ grease gun’s. Typically, there are only two standard sizes when it comes to grease cartridges, the 3oz and 14oz. Canadian Tire carries this Lithium grease in both a single unit (028-0221) and three pack (028-0850) for your convenience.

Q : This is not a lithium grease? IAW Mystik's site there are several lithium grease made by them but this isn't one of them. Is Canadian Tire ever going to sell LU-MAX again or maybe get something by Mystik that says lithium base grease in 3oz tube?

R : 028-0812 is not a lithium grease – this was an error on our website which is in the process of being corrected. The lithium-based grease we carry is SKU 028-0860 Mystik High Temperature Grease.

R : While we recommend Mystik JT-6 Multi-Purpose for low and medium speed bearings and it is excellent for trailer wheel bearings, we would not recommend it for the axle on a Recreational Vehicle. You might consider Mystik JT-6 Hi-Temp Grease, MotoMaster Wheel Bearing and Chassis Grease or MotoMaster Formula 1 Multi-Purpose Grease.

R : You want to make sure you don’t damage your equipment. Most greases for jack hammers have an additive, for example copper, in them, to withstand the constant pounding. These specialty greases are found at industrial supply/construction supply houses. We would recommend that you go on line to the (jack hammer) manufacturer’s website, and find out what companies service the equipment. They would have the correct grease.

R : This product is a NLGI 2 grease. Probably a little too firm for your application. For reference: the NLGI ratings go from 000, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The higher the number, the firmer the grease.
