I have just finished assembly of the unit. I am a handicapped senior and did it all in about 2 hours. Very strong and steady an hold a 43" TV with no problems. Great unit. Great directions included.

My father purchased this for me for christmas this year. I was a little worried as I would normally like to choose something like this myself but he did great!! Very classy unit with clean lines to fit any decor!! My house is comfy modern and this goes perfect but I think it really would fit in anywhere! It is a dark espresso color and the fireplace insert is black. This took me about an hour to put together with the help (or not so much help) of my 3 year old daughter. It is very sturdy and the instructions were easy to follow. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver! The unit is quiet and puts out a lot of heat. I don't even have the heat on in my family room anymore! Super nice to curl up in front of when the day is done. It comes with a remote and different settings for heat and flame brightness. I am very happy with this product and would reccomend it to anyone!

J'ai acheté le foyer de marque Odessa vendredi le 14 décembre 2012. J'en suis très satisfaite. Bien emballé, tout y était et en parfaite condition. Le montage a pris moins de 3 heures à 2 personnes en prenant notre temps et en lisant les instructions avant.pour ne pas avoir de mauvaises surprises par la suite. Les instructions sont faciles à comprendre. Très belle flamme et si les soirées sont froides, la chaleur est appréciée.

Just Right!

My husband and I found this item on sale and decided to treat ourselves to an early Christmas present. Once we akwardly got the box into the house, the assembly was a snap. There are a quite a few pieces, bolts and screws. The Cam Bolts and Locks are easy to install, but seem a little flimsy. It only took us 35 minutes (with a one-year-old hiding the pieces) to put the unit together and push it in place. It is just the right accessory to cozy up our living space.

Fantastic Fireplace

Reading the first review on this fireplace I was not so sure about this unit. But hey for $299 on sale I took my chance. All I have to tell is I am very happy about my decision. I am impressed with the quality of this product, it has really good finish to it. Booklet instruction were great and very easy to follow.
The fireplace insert is very quiet with different settings for heat and the flame can be adjusted as well. The remote works very well and came with battery. It heats my Basement entertainment room beautifully.

The instructions are 100 percent pictorial and each piece has to face the right way or the screw holes won't work for the next step.
