The grill is great, the installation instructions and quality control sucks big time. Instructions were not clear (and no words, just small unclear pics) along with some of the holes did NOT match up correctly.

The porcelain, enameled finish feels very durable, and retains heat beautifully, making it easy to cook evenly every time. One of my favorite features is the ability to control the temperature with the adjustable dampers; it really helps you dial in the heat depending on what you are cooking. The built-in thermometer is also super helpful for staying consistent. It’s also super lightweight and easy to move from one side to the other of your backyard! Overall it makes the entire grilling experience smoother, more organized and enjoyable! Highly recommended!

The size is perfect for a family, I can fit a lot of food at ones without overcrowding. I really enjoy that classic charcoal flavor that you don’t get from a gas grill. It feels very sturdy and well made and I’m pretty sure it will last us for years. The grill comes with an attached side table that is very convenient for prepping food and also has a lid holder so no more looking for place to set it down. The build in thermometer makes it easy to control the temperature, even if you are not an expert like me. Clean up is very easy which I didn’t expect from charcoal grill. After it cools down, just use the bottom handle to sweep all the ashes in to removable container. Then I take it out and dump it no mess at all! Overall I think this is a great grill!

We love grilling together and this grill has made our whole experience even better! Assembly was surprisingly easy and everything felt sturdy and well designed once it was set up. The cooking area is spacious and we were able to fit more meats and grilling foods than we normally could on our previous grill which made hosting family dinners much easier. I also really appreciate the built-in temperature gauge on the lid because it helps me keep a close eye on the heat and took everything perfectly without constantly lifting the lid. One of my favorite features is the side counter next to the grill. It gives me plenty of prep space and easily holds trays of meat, seasoning, and anything else I need while grilling. This sleek side rail is another thoughtful touch since I can hang my tongs and grilling tools right within reach. The hinged cooking grates make it easy to add more charcoal while cooking and the ash catcher underneath keeps everything clean and simple to maintain. The porcelain enamel finish feels very durable and built to last. I also love the smooth rolling casters because they make moving the grill around the patio effortless and they do not make any irritating noises. Overall, this grill feels premium, cooks beautifully, and has made our family grilling days even more enjoyable.

I have had the Performer Grill for about 16 years. I use it a couple of times a week, year-round. I love it and have learned the art of smoking. I figured out that an equal amount of cherry and hickory makes chicken taste and smell like you're at the county fair and that olive is the best for pork chops. This is a well-built charcoal grill and I would never buy a propane grill again. DV
