I bought this a few months ago and it's already ripped. Not so sure i would recommend buying it.

Not for older children

My kids (9, 6 and 2) have a great time on the swing; however the base is very lightweight and I worry that it won’t last long. Probably a better option for children under the age of 6. Cementing the base was a necessity.

Solid frame, swing went downhill fast

We bought this swing last May 2019. It didn't last long. The swing fabric ripped within the first few months and the entire swing seat broke down before we had had it a year. The frame is solid wood, but consider staining it to last longer. We have since repurposed the frame for other uses, so not a total loss.

However, If you want the item to be waterproof where it won't fade or grey you can finish the wood with a protective varnish or stain. Canadian Tire have a good selection to choose from. If you do treat the wood please follow the manufacturers instructions for the product you are using.
