We purchased one two summers ago, liked it so much that we purchased a second one last year. The newer model has a slightly flatter bottom, but both are stable kayaks, handle well on our lake and are light enough for a single person to lift into and out of the water. I would recommend this product.

We recently bought two of these and have taken them out a couple of times. Very happy with them, tracks well, stable, and lots of storage. We won't be using in rough water, but serves very well the demands of my family.

I got a friend to pick this kayak up for me and I truly regret it as once I got a full look at it seems to be made out of a cheep plastic that is easily dented and scratched, also the plastic bends a lot. The seating area is also not of the highest quality because it is suspended on the sides and it does not touch the bottom of the kayak so the problem is when I sit in it the sides of the kayak bend down so the seat is touching the bottom (I only weigh 145 pounds so it's not me) There is also foam blocks just those in the back of the kayak and they roll around a lot. It almost seems that the kayak was rushed out of the factory as it has a the plastic filings and junk in it when the kayak was built, it also has a sharp edge all around the perimeter of the kayak like it was never sanded down or flattened. The kayak does have very good storage and the one container is water tight So all together it's not a horrible kayak but is of a porrer quality then other kayaks Canadian tire sells. I wouldn't recommend this kayak to any of my friends and do not recommend it to anybody looking at buying a kayak like this.

Great purchase

We have had ours out quit a number of times now and have to say we are impressed. Tracks straight, lots of storage. We can do a 10 km paddle very comfortably. I can easily get in and out of it from the side of a dock or river as it is very stable. The black storage can be taken out and a 65 litre dry sac fit very well. The only con is that it would have been nice if the seat was a bit higher at the back but I am going to go online and see if I can order one.

R : We are 5"4 and 5"7 seems to be a lot of leg room. The foot supports extent quit far. I can even put a bag or life jacket easily between my legs.

R : I have been using it on the ocean near Victoria, and it is great. There is hardly any metal on it to rust, and I make sure to hose it down after every use. It tracks pretty well, but obviously not like a true ocean kayak.
