Terrible battery life

This is by far the worst battery powered weed eater I have ever owned. The batter life is terrible. 8 hour charge for 15+- minutes of use. I do not recommend this tool to anyone.

Not happy

The batteries do not last. They take forever to charge but does not last long enough to do a postage stamp size yard. I received a new battery last year and now it won't even charge!!! I even kept the battery put away in the house during the winter. So disappointed

Initial thoughts are wrong again.

When I first received this product the first thing I noticed was how small the line was. I did not think this was too big of a deal though because I have a rather small yard to trim because of city life. However, while the battery doesn't last more than 30 min at a time, even my tiny yard can't be completed at one time due to the small cutting radius.
As if that were not enough, after the first use, I put the trimmer away and went on with my life. The next week, I get the trimmer out and the lock that allows the change between trimmer and edger has completely seized and will not rotate. This is a bummer. I started to work on it and about half way through I decided that it is just not worth it. This product is NOT worth the time, effort or frustration that comes along with it.

I was bambuzled!!

Very good product for the first year when both batteries were new. 2nd year not so good. Nicad batteries suck, they don't last...Now they are worthless only last about 5 minutes with decent power.
They need to make a Lithium battery for this model. Does anyone know if they do??
