We started out buying two credenzas from another retailer, but sent them back when the lack of quality in the design became apparent.
These two credenzas (also weighed 40 lbs less than the first two) were just the right size to go on either side of our new fireplace as 'built-in' wannabes. The fit and finish was what we were looking for, assembly was straightforward and simple (took about 2 hours for the second one once the first one was assembled!), and there weren't as many parts to assemble compared to our first purchase from the other retailer.
For the money, they are a real value although not nearly as expensive a custom designed built-ins. They will now house our electronics, provide a platform for our 42" TV, and odds and sods that need to be consolidated. We may even install low light LED's in them to give them more depth.
We'll have to modify them slightly to make them fit more snugly against the fireplace (at the base only), but that would be necessary regardless of the brand chosen.
One thing that will definitely have to change is the color; - the fireplace is Benjamin Moore CC40 white (a soft white), and so the bright white finish of the credenzas will need to be adjusted to match / blend with the existing. That's a late fall project; - not a 'now' project.
