Armoire Stack-On, 16 fusils

This product is about as basic as it gets when it comes to 'safes'. The walls are barely thicker than you'd find in a gun cabinet, but because it is specifically designated a 'safe', it means that in Canada you can legally use it to store restricted firearms without any sort of trigger locking device (NOT SO WITH 'CABINETS' - I think what sets it apart from a 'cabinet' are the locking lugs and welded construction). This safe does not come with any sort of fire protection but that's less of an issue in a basement. The finish on it has an orange peel texture and is a very dark green (darker than the stock photo). You can't tell from the photo on here but it's got multiple gold accents on the front including the handle and combination dial, both anodised aluminum I'm guessing. It's also got gold pin-striping around the door. Let me just say, I didn't think a safe could look sexy until I saw this one. It is a beautiful looking safe. Another aspect I really appreciate is that both the dial and handle have got very nice, high quality rubber features; the dial is surrounded in rubber and the handle has a rubber inlay on the back for grip. Overall, it's not much more secure than a gun cabinet but if you can grab it on sale it's well worth it; I would give this product 5/5 if it wasn't so expensive. Be weary of damage when you buy! I got one with multiple dents, scratches and a cracked weld which I returned. Touch up paint can be ordered from Stack-On for free though. Enjoy!

I just purchased this one on sale. For the money I paid, it was is a very good value. There are no decent safes available in this price range with this one being the exception. Someone else here mentioned the door not sealing well. Mine has a tiny bit of play as well but if you want a perfect fit, go buy a Browning for $2,000 plus.

I had one delivered and when I opened the box, the whole top panel had cracked. must have been dropped off a truck. The steel ain't exactly bullet proof thick that's for sure. It was replaced however and other than a tiny bit of chipped paint it was flawless. Takeaways: 1) Solid combo lock mechanism and latch. 2) Flush door panel (on mine anyways) with solid 3 lock points. 3) Good interior space 4) The carpet is thick and there is good coverage but the installation was ghetto. 5) Top shelf could be longer but fit beautifully and gets the job done. 6) Plastic door shelves are good and the added key hangers a plus. It's $400. For that its a great safe. I could have spent 8 or even a grand and gotten a fire proof behemoth but this safe is light enough to make it easy to move for install and when full, heavy enough to not have to worry. Ready to be anchored into the floor or wall if need be. More of a solid filing cabinet with a combo lock lol. Would recommend.

i bought this safe when it was on sale a few weeks back the box was not damaged. when i opened it had damaged to inside shelf was not level at all. the door doesn't seal well. i would return it but i have built in to a wall and i cant remove it at this point
