Great fan, especially for the price- not to loud and good air flow.
Only complaint would be the bright blue power light that shines when it's powered off, which I've taped over so I can sleep with it on (Solution culd be to unplug the thing I guess, but can't do that with a remote.)

R : OK, Here you go!! $60.00, you get what you pay for, it is a fan, not an A/C unit, we love it because it moves the stale air around, yes we hear it, but it does not interfere with any of our activities with the kids in the TV room. They asked what it was when they saw it, not when they heard it!, and now they don't even notice. ( it's not that loud unless it's on full. If you have it on full, you will be grateful for the air motion, and not care about the sound.

R : Je l'ai à la maison et malgré qu'il n'ait pas la fonction silencieuse, il fait très peu de bruit même à puissance 3 (plus haute puissance). Je dors avec ce ventilateur toute l'été à puissance 3.

Q : A tower fan blows cooler air? I am deciding on which fan to get, the pedestal one or the tower one. From the reviews, people said the tower fan blows out cool air than room temperature, as pose to the pedestal fan does not? Can someone confirm for me. Thanks :)

R : As this is a tower fan it is pulling the air from the bottom of the room, floor level. It is surprising how much cooler the temperature is at floor level in comparision to ceiling level. Remember, hot air rises........... It is not an air conditioner but it does have a cooling affect

R : Look on the back of the remote. there is cut away with the word "open". use your thumb to push that cover down towards the bottom of the remote. It should slide right off.
