Short center bolt...NOT!!

Reading the other reviews it became clear to me that those having troubles with the center bolt had obviously tightened the strap too tightly to a recessed electrical box in their ceiling. That strap is meant to mount flush with the ceiling drywall, not jammed tight to the box tabs. this keeps the center bolt from grinding into the wiring in the box possibly causing a short and fire. I installed mine in under an hour and had no issues at all.

Ridiculous installation

So now that these fixtures are up they're great, but the installation was needlessly difficult. Would it be really difficult to make the bolt longer?

EASY to install, great product

Unlike others I had no trouble installing this. You have to play with the bolt but with 2 minutes of patience you will have no problem. Let the light hang a bit once anchored, it will be easy for you to install. Also personally didn't anchor the arms to the ceiling so I can move them if I want.

Terrible Install but Looks Nice

The threads on the main bolt wouldn't grab hold of the lighting mount. I had to make the brace protrude from the ceiling to be able to have the bolt reach. The install should have taken 10 min, but instead took 2+ hours is awkward and painful positions. The irony is that this MAGNUM light has a bolt that is 1/4 - 1/2 inch too short.
The product looks good when finally installed.

Must Buy!
I cannot say enough about this light! It looks great, the price is a steal for the quality and the lights are super bright!
Also, it comes in a super small box, which was great as I live in an urban area and do not have a car. I simply carried the light home in my everyday shopping bag.
