Polisseuse paume de main Jobmate, 6 po

I have 4 vehicles and keep them all polished.. I bought a Jobmate polisher,and the first one lasted for 6 polishes,then got another lasted half of a vehicle,yes 6 minutes of ussage !! I returned it and lasted for 5 polishes,then broke.I had to try again just because of the pure curiousity and to my amazment it lasted about 12 polishes then FAILED ! I know how to use these,since the early 1990's i've owned 3 of them and NONE broke like these ! Infact my older ones still worked,and used them hundreds of times..I cant believe the lack of quality in this product,ALL failed the same way..Even the people working at CT said those are no good.. The other comments were just saying how a polisher has a great shine,it is better then hand,but not a Jobmate unless you use it once if it lasts that long..

ok so, i picked this up to do some buffing on my last car, shortly after this my engine went so i purchased a newer car (2003 gti 20th anniversary edition) but in black (oh boy) so i can tell you exactly what results to expect, for minor work like light polishing to get rid of very minor marks or buffing, this is a great tool, not over powered so no risk of burning paint and saves alot of energy however for anything more i wouldnt recomend it. I had a bad case of swirl marks and although it did make a noticeable improvement that was after about 6 applications of Auto Glym paint renovator and turtle wax hard compound twice both are very strong and too put in perspective if i used it on my g110v2 (meguiars polisher) i had to use one application of hard compound and one paint renovator and i removed any evidence of a key mark which was pretty deep so bassically only use this if your doing very minor scratch repair or regular wax applications ive built my vehicle up and i display it all the time as a show car at events across canada, because of this my vehicle is polished, and waxed at least once a week for optimum shine and protection and ive been though my fair share of products and at the end of the day you get what you pay for in almost all cases if you want show car results though ill give you my process, depending on the severity of your vehicle and swirl marks etc it may take more then the listed applications the first time 1. Wash - two bucket method recomended (google it) i use meguiars gold class during show season but before and after winter i use auto glym body shampoo 2. polish; meguiars dual action -its about $200 best investment ive made i use it on my winter vehicle as well which was all scratched and dented-its still dented but cleaner and shinier then any off the lot car for polish use auto glym super resin or if not strong enough use paint renovator however only after trying super resin as it is extremely harsh ill use 1 application of super resin 3.wax i used to clay my car every week but its not worth it so i just get some meguiars gold class carnuba -apply by hand once dry buff off with this jobmate machine and finally go over with microfibre cloth (NOTE** apply wax in shade i use my garage otherwise it will look bad) finally water test; take a cup fill it with water, dump on your hood, if it sheets off you have done it right beading is a sign you need to clay your vehicle however if you dont need show results then just go over the vehicle with a chamois like shamwow

I also got this on sale for 19.99 and its great for buffing out those few little scratches. I got a 2011 Ford Edge that was a demo and this took car of all the little scratches I found after the snow melted (Shows me for buying a car early march) It saves pulling out the the big polisher and doing a massive area to fix a small scratch. I don't think I'd use it to fully polish a whole car, maybe wax if I didn't have custom graphics. *** No Motorized polisher is safe for use on vinyl graphics, the high rotation speeds can cause the vinyl to lift or if its a non laminated print can rub the ink/paint off the vinyl.***

I bought this to restore an electric guitar and it works great for the minor scratches I needed to polish out left from the rubbing compound and 2000 grit sandpaper. the big concern with this particular polisher is that the cord is so short, pay the extra 10$ for a simonize or whatever you see in the sand paper asile unless you got an extension cord laying around. It doesn't overheat based on two solid hours of on and off again work, it doesn't accidentally turn on or anything bad , just the cord is too short, thats the only reason i wouldn't recommend it as well, but hey thats probably why we're saving the 10$. Its not too loud either , so a huge plus. Anyways check it out if you've got an extension cord laying around if not go with the slightly more expensive models they carry.

La polisseuse peut faire un travail intéressant lorsqu'elle fonctionne. Cependant, après 2 utilisations, elle s'est mise à faire un bruit bizarre et à faire de la limaille de fer. J'ai vraiment eu peur que ça endommage la peinture. Je vais tenter de la retourner au magasin dès que possible. J'opterai probablement pour un produit de meilleure qualité.
