J'ai acheté ce meuble simple ainsi que des poignées que j'ai fait installer sur les tiroirs pour un look plus actuel. Satisfaction garantie !

I spent 3 hours building this.

The instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. However, they included the wrong side-boards (number 9 and 11) for its two drawers. Instead of mirrored sides with corresponding screw holes, they included identical sides (all number 11, no 9) so the holes don't match any more.
Unfortunately, the drawers are done at the last step so the whole unit is already pretty much built at that point.
So I can:
1. Dissemble the unit entirely for return and exchange, wasting a few more hours.
2. Bring back those two pieces only and try to explain or argue with Canadian Tire to open up another sealed package for swapping.
3. Call the Manufacture and wait for a replacement part sent by mail in a week or two, while my TV sits on the floor.
4. Try to drill and screw the drawers together with external wood screws, looking ugly with screws exposed.
All these are bad options... so I picked the last option. The thing is quite heavy so I really don't want to lift it again. I also want to complete the project the same day so my TV can be placed on it. So I am essentially making a drawer with nails and wood screws.... which were not part of the original plan. It took me extra couple of hours to complete it. I then use Sharpie to blacken the nails and screws so they blend in with the rest of unit. It looks unprofessional but I don't really care anymore because it's for my own use. I will do anything to avoid assembling that thing again.
If you want to buy this, please make sure you check all the parts (there are about 100 pieces, including screws and wooden sticks) before you start, or you may run into the problem that I had today.

R : I wanted the answer to this question as well. It was not on the site... I went to a store and looked at the box. On the box it is printed that the stand can hold up to 170 lbs. Yes, 170 pounds! No modern TV, plasma or LED weighs anywhere near that much. The 60 inch plasma I have weighs 78 pounds. It's a great stand at a great price!
