R : The unit is 25.4” tall and 17.7” deep which accounts for the 43” that is mentioned below. Although the lid does not open fully there is the bend. We think that you should expect to allow for the full 43.1”.

R : Yes they are. TO REMOVE THE DRAWERS: Empty the drawers. Pull the drawer out so that it is almost fully extended. Push up on the right hand black release lever, while pulling down on the left hand black release lever. While holding the levers in the positions as instructed above, pull the drawer/worktop outward until it is released from the drawer slides.
