Plastic Nut broke

I had great experience with coleman products in the past. I have two tents that worked very well for my family for many years. This is very disappointing to have this plastic nut just break apart during the second year of use and make it non useable.

It will break

Do not buy this product it will not last. The plastic knob that attaches it to the tank cracks.

Meets Expectations

Got mine as a gift a few years back. Never have problems with it. Only issue I find is it doesn't support my Coleman Pinnacle lantern very well. The weight of the lantern is apparently too much for the tree, it'll slope to one side while attached to the propane tank. Overall I'm very content with this product.

Convenient but pricey.

Been using for a few years. Had same problem with knob as everyone but managed to repair from an old bbq. Over all satisfied but definitely needs to be improved.

Plastic knob/connector breaks

As with many of the other reviews, the Tree works great until the plastic knob connecting to the propane tank breaks. Mine broke after only a few uses. The knob seems to made of much less durable material than what is used on my backyard grill.

R : No. You would use the hoses that come with your other equipment like a camp stove, or you would have to buy hoses. A lantern that attaches to a little green propane tank will screw onto the top of the tree.

R : The distribution tree is designed to connect to a propane tank as the source. The outlets are designed to fit Coleman (or other brand) extension hose such as 76-2430. A regulator is not needed as the regulators are usually includes with the appliance. Nor is a POL adapter needed for the distribution tree.
