R : Here is a response from the manufacturer: We are not familiar at all with the Princess Auto version. I do get a lot of phone calls from people who have bought one and they tell me that they tend to bend in the middle if the bike is on it for any length of time. Our design is manufactured from 120 wall steel. It is then e-coated and then Powder coated. Other manufacturers do not e-coat the steel which cause their carriers to rust within one season. All of the hardware that we use is Grade 8 strength to resist any bolt breaking while in use. We also use an extended receiver bar so that the motorcycle will not come in contact with the vehicle that it sits on. In most cases it allows you to use this on a SUV that has a rear mounted spare tire. Our carrier will fit every configuration of Motorcycle in the market unlike many of our competitors. Ignition Products has been manufacturing Motorcycle carries for 10 years and all of our products are tested to the fullest extent before being released to market.
