    They are good but sometimes they dry out. I feel that they smell weirdly satisfying not good for kids. The flow is not that consistent but it works. The cap is chewable I guess. Built like a deconstructed airpod. 💔

    First off who doesn't use sharpies. If I'm getting permanent this is going to be the brand that I go for. We used it for years and it's always outshined other brands it has stood up to kids smearing stuff on it and whether and I washed them in my pockets about a hundred times and they still work afterwards.

    If I opened up your desk in 2005 and you didn’t own a sharpie? Unthinkable. Sharpies are a classic and staple from childhood. Everything from writing, marking, organizing and art. The ink lasts quite a while over other brands. I know this from office work for over 10 years. The grip is solid. It does bleed if using most thinner paper products and always should use a couple sheets underneath. It’s hard to find a permanent marker that doesn’t. I always love the classic snap of a sharpie cap. It’s iconic.

    A crafting classic!

    I absolutely love using sharpies in my drawings or crafts knowing they are clear and permanent! Little to no bleeding and they’re always comfortable in the hand. You can also get so many in one pack, they’re hard to turn down when I see them in store.

    Q : I RECEIVED A BEAUTIFUL SET OF 45 CT. SHARPIES FOR CHRISTMAS, HOWEVER ON THE ULTRA FINE PENS, THE CAPS ARE ALL STUCK SO HARD, I CAN'T GET THE LID/CAP OFF TO USE THEM. I HAVE TRIED USING SMALL WRENCHES TO PRY THEM LOOSE. WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

    • R : I have had several caps I cannot remove either, recently. I have used two vise-grip pliers to twist them and “break” the seal after which they seem to be okay. But we should not have to go to such measures to open our pens. What gives, Sharpie? What changed and WHY?

We recommend Sharpie TEC Markers (Trace Element Certified): These are specifically designed for stainless steel and nuclear-grade materials, and Sharpie Industrial Markers: Engineered to be more resistant to heat and chemicals. AP Certification Seal signifies that the product has been examined by an independent, certified toxicologist from Duke University Medical Center and administered through The Art & Creative Materials Institute, Inc. (ACMI). When a product bears the AP seal, it means the examination concluded that no toxins are present in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to people, when used as intended, to cause acute or chronic health problems.
