Ce foyer a une très belle apparence. La flamme a l'air réelle. Réchauffe en peu de temps notre salon lorsqu'on veut une chaleur rapide. Facile à installer et à utiliser. Deux intensités de lumières, chauffe à 750W ou 1500W. Peut être utilisé sans qu'il ne produise de chaleur. 5/5

Fantastic Fireplace

I love our Hollywood Fireplace. The logs and fire look fantastic, and you have control over the amount of heat that the fireplace gives off. The dark wood is a beautiful shade that compliments so many interiors. I love the trim details that surround the mantel and hearth areas. There was a slight scratch in ours when we unwrapped it, but they include a stain marker so I was able to fix the scratch and any future ones that may happen. The only negative thing is that you can see the fire lights reflecting off the back wall behind the fireplace when you look at it from the side. Great product!

Quality is great

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product. The MDF wood is very dense and heavy with a really good finish to it. I recommend putting it on a sheet or carpet to avoid scratches when assembling it.
It was packaged really well with no damage to it. Booklet instruction were easy to follow. Glue is not included for dowels so a thick glue would be recommended. Make sure all the dowels go in all the way and are even when set. (about 1/3 of an inch sticking out from each hole or the pieces will not go together properly. I did have to cut a few off that were too long. I recommend a rubber mallet for putting the bottom on. There a number of dowels to line up. It took me a while but I got it done. (I am a 60 year old woman and did this alone). Trust me it is heavy.
The fireplace insert is very quiet with 3 setting for heat and the flame can be adjusted as well. The remote works very well and came with battery. It heats my livingroom beautifully.
I got this unit on half price and very pleased with the whole unit. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone and since I usually only buy real wood products. That says something in itself.

Great Fireplace

as the other review mentioned, I got this on sale also while it was half priced, this was actually a replacement unit for a sylvania fireplace i had that died within the first year, esthetically speaking this is as nice as they come in this price range, it is very sturdy, and doesnt have the fake wood feeling to it, as with most. keeps our living room at a comfortable level, without requiring another heat source. the only downfall, is that it doesnt have a different fan speed, you can adjust the temp, but you cant increase fan speed. outside of that, it looks awesome, with our 50inch tv placed on it well worth the money, maybe not at the 549.99, but if you can get this for 400 or below it is a good buy

R : Depends on your car. It was 57 inches long 2 feet wide and at least 18 inches deep. It would not fit in my Saturn. I would recommend a truck, SUV or have it delivered by delivery men Iike I did.

R : Strange question, I would check with the company. It should hold a 52 inch screen TV or more. I sat on mine easily and I weigh 145 pounds. Does that help?

R : Since the fireplace is sitting inside the unit, it can be placed on any surface without fear of damaging carpet or other flooring. If you use the fireplace portion separately, I don't know.

R : 23" wide x 8" deep and 20" high is the fire box itself. The center opening corressponds with a fire box except it is 11 inches deep. The two side sections are 22 inches tall x 9 inches wide x10.5 inches deep. Shelves may be put in and height adjusted. The horizontal shelf above the firebox in 46.5 inces long x6.75 inches tall by 10.5 inches deep.
