    The product came out of box with a couple dings in it and because it is such a big, heavy unit we decided to put up with the dings rather than return it. Assembly takes a while and requires a specialized tool to mount the fire box inside the cabinet. Light bulbs for the firebox were loose inside the firebox so took us a while to figure out why the flames were not working. Once set up, it is a nice unit and seems to work well.

    I got the fireplace, which I was super excited about,on black firday. I went to pick it up with my Fiance in Richmond BC. We got it home and I open the box, the first thing I notice is there is a den/partial hole in one of the shelving pieces, and hidden so I didn't care too much (more annoyed) I set it up which was relatively easy minus the instructions for the fireplace itself were confusing and not well described/no images to direct like the rest of the shelving. I got the fire place in the shelving, turned it on and BOOM one of the friggen lights in the fire place dont work....now I am really annoyed, this is brand new, and the last thing I want to do is lug this back to Richmond from Downtown, after its been put together to get a bulb!

    The service staff at fort road was excellent!!! My fireplace was a display model and had no packaging. The staff worked with great care to package it up. They should be supplied with bubble wrap to speed up the process. I was impressed with what they did with no supply's. They loaded the fireplace with caution and refused a cash tip. Shout out to all the customer service ppl. Anita B

    Love my new fireplace/entertainment unit. Looks even better than I expected considering that I got it on sale for 60% off. Took about 2-3 hours to assemble, but my husband took his time and glued the unit together to make it sturdier. Would highly recommend this unit.

    Q : What is the Maximum TV size this can fit? I know it says 50 inches, but sometimes you can get away with a few more inches. Would a 55 inch TV fit?

    Q : Does it just come in 1 box? If so, will it fit in back of a Corolla with the back seats folded down?

    • R : It all comes in one box but I don't think it would fit in a car. The box is a good 4 1/2 ft long and quite tall. I took it home in an SUV and folded my seats down.

    • R : I'm not sure where you can get the bottle of paint. I have mine that came with the fireplace and used a bit of it but it is far from matching - almost black. A dark brown crayon or marker might do the trick just as well or better.
