    This is poorly made, difficult to fit and install. Nuts don't tighten well, and though it is functional, it is difficult to take out and reinstall. Not sure I can locally find anything better though...Look around and find something better if u can...Expensive for what you get...

    This thing is junk. Could never get it tight enough that my dog couldnt push the bars down and almost climb through. All the plastic pieces break. I got by for a year with it because I was too stubborn to buy something else, but now it's off to the garbage. Save your money and buy something better.

    Low Quality - WAY Below CT Standards

    Just bought this Pet Barrier and obviously I should have read the reviews first. I have never written a poor review on a product in my life, but the lack of quality actually shocked me! First, the wing nuts or perhaps the threaded rod (probably both) were completely stripped, making it impossible to adjust the height. The plastic components are very low quality and I suspect that they will break with any significant pressure - which is required for a snug fit. Hard to believe that it hasn't been pulled from the shelves for a better alternative.

    I would give it zero stars if that were possible. Weak. Poor design. Plastic guides for tubes cracked as I slid them through. Pushed with less than 5lb and it failed. It was also missing a foot for one of the vertical supports. I recommend that this item be pulled from the shelves. If you buy one, open prior to leaving the store and inspect that all the parts are there as a minimum. I am returning this item for a refund.

    Poor quality plastic breaks on assembly

    I just bought this item today and took it home to assemble. The long metal tubes are too wide for the plastic brackets, so when you push the tube through the brackets they crack and snap losing all structural integrity. I am returning this item as it is defective. I should have been suspicious when the store had one on the shelf that was clearly returned as the box was bulging from not being packed correctly and it was held together with packing tape. I'm surprised that other reviewers this this product is great. Perhaps when they purchased it the plastic was better quality. This has the potential to be a great pet barrier, but it needs durable and properly sized plastic components.

    • R : It expands from 34 to 65W” (86 - 165 cm), and from 20 to 55H” (51 - 140 cm). You can move the horizontal bars higher or lower on the vertical bars. This barrier fits almost all SUV’s, vans & wagons & is easy to install.
