I bought the sifting litter box to use with pine pellet cat litter. I am sooooo happy with it! It doesn't work as well with clumping litters but for pine pellets it is the best thing I've found...ever. Like any new product it takes time to get the hand of it but, it is well worth it. I am thrilled with the results

Scooping is no longer a chore

I've been using this litter system for over a year now, and love it (as much as one can love scooping). Super easy to use and takes less than 20 seconds to sift and reset. My cat is medium sized and this box is the perfect size for her. The only times I have had the clumping in grate problem was when I either had put too little/shallow litter in the box or I missed a day of scooping. ie my fault.

Litter everywhere !

I needed an extra litter box and thought this might be good , but I had no luck with this model. The front is cut so low that the cats put more litter on the floor than they leave in the pan. The sifting pan just plugs right up and you have to scrape off both sides of stuck on muck. Taking the lid off is tricky and after you transfer the litter into the extra pan you have another cleanup on your hands. I use clumping litter and maybe that is the reason it sticks on both sides of the screen. After cleaning it the second time I just put it in the recycle bin and will be buying the covered litter box as they are a breeze to clean and they are both the same price. Good luck if you decide to try it, but I would try the regular non clumping litter.

Never had to sweep so much in my life...

Complete waste of money, if I wasn't putting the litter I swept up back in the box I'd be down to half a box at this point and it has been a sold 24 hours since purchase.
3/4 of the sifting tray clogged already.... again its been a sold 24 hrs and between my two guys they have gone twice.....
Would not recommend this product even in a pinch... How do you return a product that is used to collect excrement!? Really wish I has looked at the reviews as even the star rating speaks for itself...

Great pan if used correctly

I bought this 2 years ago for use with my two cats. It took a timely chore down to a matter of minutes.
It works best if you don't over fill it so it's not heavy and makes a mess everywhere.
I fill mine a little less then half way and I clean it daily with two adult cats using it. I have never had an issue with it.
LOVE this product.
