It made holes but there were no fish. I really loved how light it was, i am not a very strong man

No way to start the auger

Drove 400 km to buy this high rated auger.
Next day,-12C, I tried to start it in my garage.
Sometimes it runs, but only for 5 or 6 secounds.
Gave up after hours and brought it back.
Lots of plastic parts, wires beside the machine and handle.
Would not buy it again.

auger is o.k. but....

purchased the auger in mid January. I drilled 3 holes with it and went to drill the fourth and the blades both broke. I called Normark, the Canadian distributor and left a message with customer service. It took them two days to call me back and even then they did not leave a message. I saw the number on call display. When I finally did speak with someone they were not much help. I would not buy this product again due to poor customer service at Normark and the poor quality of the blades.

very quiet and dependable

I had a hard time deciding which auger brand to buy, but decided to go with the Strike Master Lite 8". Very impressed with the performance, and how quiet the unit is when running. Starts great in the cold, and uses very little gas. Will update my review if things change, but for now very satisfied with this unit. Keep on fishing!!!!!

StrikeMaster & Honda....why look at anything else!

StrikeMaster was already the best brand for Ice auger's out there. Then they team up with Honda to make the smoothest ice auger's I have ever used.
It doesn't get any better then this! This auger weighs only 23lbs! Extremely light!
Pay the extra, you will not be disappointed!
